Rohacs hitting .333 at GVSU

Former Dowagiac standout Chad Rohacs is currently hitting .333 with two home runs, seven doubles and 19 RBIs for Grand Valley State University.
The Lakers are 21-11 overall and 12-6 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Rohacs, who has a .473 slugging percentage, has not committed an error while fielding for Grand Valley.
Grand Valley cancelled its games in Dayton, Ohio over the weekend with Wright State due to weather.
The Lakers are scheduled to return to action on Saturday when they host Wayne State for four games.
Grand Rapids CC
The Grand Rapids Community College womens' softball team is 16-17 overall and 13-5 in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association's Western Collegiate Conference.
Dowagiac freshmen Erica Knapp and Brianne Reist are members of the squad.
Grand Rapids will be back in action on Tuesday when it travels to Benton Harbor to take on Lake Michigan College at 3 p.m
Western Michigan University
The Lady Broncos are currently 14-20 on the season and 9-6 in the Mid-American Conference.
Western Michigan also had its weekend games canceled due to weather conditions.
The Lady Broncos were scheduled to play Central Michigan University today at noon.
Eastern Michigan University
The Lady Eagles are 11-18 overall in 2005 and 7-8 in the Mid-American Conference.
Former Dowagiac standout Kelly Tomczak has returned to play after missing much of the beginning of the season due to injury.
Tomczak has appeared in two games this year and pitched two innings.
Tomczak has not allowed a run while giving up two hits. She has struck out two batters and walked two.
Eastern Michigan lost to Ball State in the first of two games Friday afternoon, 2-1. The second game was canceled due to the weather.
Eastern Michigan returns to action on Wednesday when it hosts Kent State in MAC competition.
Hope College
The Flying Dutchmen are 14-15 overall and 7-5 in the Michigan Intercollege Athletic Association.
Dowagiac freshman Davey Moran has appeared in two games for Hope College, pitching an inning and a third of relief.
Northwood University
Northwood is now 23-9 overall and 11-5 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
The Timberwolves had their game on Sunday snowed out against Gannon.
Dowagiac's Rachel Minikel is hitting .253 with three doubles, a home run and eight RBIs.
Former Brandywine standout Reeta Echavarria is hitting .275 with four doubles, three triples and 12 RBIs.
Northwood returns to action on Wednesday against Albion.
Albion College
GRAND RAPIDS - The Albion College men's track team scored first-place performances in six events as it gained a split in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association double dual meet Wednesday afternoon. Albion scored a 163-22 victory over Adrian College , but suffered a 118.33-73.66 defeat to Calvin College.
Dowagiac's Adam Dohm is a member of the Albion squad.
