NILES - Brandywine's varsity soccer team was once again upset Friday at home.
The Bobcats fell to Granger Christian for their third straight loss of the season and head coach Judy Low says her team was very tired.
The Knights scored two goals in the first half from Whitny Wood and Jeannette Thomas to give them a 2-0 lead heading into the second half.
Granger Christian opened the half with a goal from Amanda Mooth 1:38 into the second.
Mooth scored another goal at the 26:24 mark to give the Knights a 4-0 lead.
Brandywine struggled to keep the ball on its end of the field and with 4:48 left to play Emma Dunbar scored the final goal for Granger Christian to give them the 5-0 lead and the victory.
The Bobcats had 19 keeper saves and five goal shots.
The Knights had 24 goal shots and three keeper saves.
Brandywine has plenty of time to rest in the up and coming week as it doesn't return to the field until Wednesday.
