CASSOPOLIS - Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports his office handled a personal-injury accident involving a single motor vehicle at the intersection of Indian Lake Road and Dixon Street in Silver Creek Township at 2:24 a.m. Sunday, April 10.
A vehicle traveling northbound on Indian Lake Road left the roadway on a curved intersection, striking a tree.
A passenger, 27-year-old Jason Flewellen of Dowagiac, was transported to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac for treatment of minor injuries.
Driver information was not available.
Deputies were assisted by Sister Lakes Fire and Ambulance and Dowagiac Ambulance.
Weather and road conditions at the time of the accident were clear and road conditions were dry.
The accident remains under investigation.
