CASSOPOLIS - Local government officials in Cass County gather on Thursday evening, April 14, for the 14th annual Intergovernmental Forum.
The forum will take place at the Mathews Conference Center East on the Dowagiac campus of Southwestern Michigan College.
Participants include trustees, supervisors, mayors and council members from the townships, villages, city and Indian tribe that are located in the county.
Purpose of the forum is to promote intergovernmental cooperation and communication through knowing your neighbor and knowing the latest about government opportunities.
Theme for the forum will be "Local Governments Coming Together."
The forum will include presentations on the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians, the Cass County Road Commission and interlocal agreements.
