NILES - Brandywine Middle School students will get a new writing lab.
At the Brandywine Public Schools Board of Education meeting Monday the board was asked to approve a change of order for the amount of $38,762, which will be used to construct a writing lab for the middle school students. Middle School/High School Principal Christine Banaszak brought the need for this type of facility to the board.
They also received an update on the construction process going on within the district from Steve Orlando of Skanska. He stated that all of the buildings are well on their way to being finished and that they are about three months ahead of schedule.
The board also approved a budget update in which approximately $83,000 would go back into the district's equity.
