No Vikings’ players make the all-conference squads

Dowagiac junior Lisa Rubino has been named to the Big 16 Conference All-Conference tennis team for the second straight year.
First team singles players named to the squad along with Rubino were Raelyn Althoff (Lakeshore), Lindsay Carroll (Battle Creek Central), Cameron Chapman (Portage Central), Cathy Cline (St. Joseph), Jessica Corns (Battle Creek Lakeview), Sara Howland (Portage Northern), Erma Luther (Kalamazoo Central), Michelle King (Mattawan), Jade Richmond (Sturgis), Shannon Smith (Portage Northern) and Erin Weldon (Mattawan).
Honorable mention picks were Katherine Garcia (Battle Creek Central), Lauren Hyland (Battle Creek Harper Creek) and Katie Kramer (Kalamazoo Central).
First team doubles players were Lindsay Swisher/Katie Stanchak (Battle Creek Lakeview), Alia Kaakani/Sarah Sinclair (Kalamazoo Loy Norrix), Beth Chucta/Kelly Revall (Mattawan), Dina Salomon/Morgan Patterson (Portage Central), Kelsey Chrystal/Kailin VanDeVelder (Portage Northern) and Whitney Johnson/Kylie Cheevers (St. Joseph).
Honorable mention selections were Ashley Gradwell/Janelle Gradwell (Portage Central) and Ester MacRae/Kelly Mottinger (Coldwater).
