Lady Rangers blow out River Valley, 62-26

The Cassopolis varsity basketball team improved to 5-1 in the Lakeland Conference with a 62-26 victory over River Valley on Thursday, Sept. 23.
Jealyn Foston led the Lady Rangers (8-1 overall) with 17 points. Kelsey Gordon added 13 points and Amanda Weiss seven.

The Lady Rangers played to a 4-4 draw with host Lake Michigan Catholic on Tuesday.
The two schools split flights in both singles and doubles.
Cassopolis picked up wins at No. 1 singles with Sarah Kwast and No. 3 singles with Cally Hass.
The Lady Rangers earned wins at No. 3 doubles with Maddalena Angeloni and Gabrielle Bailey, and at No. 4 doubles with Samantha Vlasicak and Carmalita Peake.
