Buchanan's offense put on a strong performance, and its defense followed suit in a 35-0 stomping of Centreville Friday.
The Bucks used a balanced attack, scoring a touchdown in every quarter, with two in the second, to beat Centreville. All five scores came on the ground.
Jared Rusher started the scoring in the first quarter with a 10-yard touchdown run. Rusher also had an 80-yard kick off return to begin the third half, which head coach Joe Austin called electrifying.
Denny Williams also scored twice for Buchanan, with runs of three and 12 yards.
Josh Wahlstrom scored the other touchdown for the Bucks on a five-yard run.
On defense, Buchanan recovered four Centreville fumbles, with Ryan Carrigan getting two of them.
