It's time to register for the Dowagiac City Tennis Tournament.
The singles tournament will be held at Dowagiac Union High School's courts on Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, Aug. 1.
Deadline to register is Wednesday, July 28. The tournament pairings will be posted at the tennis courts on Friday, July 30.
The tournament begins at 9 a.m. on July 31.
Cost remains $5 per person for the singles tournament.
The doubles tournaments will be held at Dowagiac Union High School's courts on Saturday, Aug. 7 and Sunday, Aug. 8.
Deadline to register is Wednesday, Aug. 4. The tournament pairings will be posted at the tennis courts on Friday, Aug. 6.
The men's and women's doubles tournaments begin at 9 a.m. on Aug 7. The mixed doubles tournament will begin at 9 a.m. on Aug. 8.
Cost remains $10 per team for the doubles tournament.
Residents of Cass County, a graduate of Dowagiac Union High School and current or former members of the Dowagiac Tennis Association are eligible to compete.
Matches will be the best of three sets with a 12-point tiebreaker used in all sets.
Balls will be furnished for all matches. The tournament is a single elimination format with a consolation round for those who wish to play. The board reserves the right to cancel an event if not enough entries are received for that event.
