The baseball coaches of the Lakeland Conference recently voted on All-Conference awards and third-place finisher Edwardsburg took home plenty of honors.
The Eddies landed four players on the All-Conference First Team, including catcher Nate Peak, outfielder Anthony Peak, outfielder Jon Muff and player-at-large Zac Rooney.
Coloma placed two players on the First Team -- pitcher Brian Rogers and infielders Erich Biggart and Bobby Edelberg. River Valley pitcher Bobby Schiller and infiedler Steve Terry also made the First Team with Coach of the Year honors going to River Valley's Neil Carter.
Brandywine center fielder Billy Syrette was named to the First Team as was Buchanan third baseman Josh Wahlstrom.
The All-Conference Second Team consisted of Brandywine's Kory Bridges, Aaron Holy, Casey Udell and Andy Low; Bridgman's Zac Nemitz and Josh Hurst; River Valley's Kevin Zabel and Danny Baker; Buchanan's P.J. Pollock; Coloma's Ronnie Simmons; and Berrien Springs' Scott Snyder.
The Honorable Mention list consisted of River Valley's Caleb Dryden and Jeremy Shaeffer; Cassopolis' Andre Broussard and Ashton Danzy; Coloma's Jamie Page; Edwardsburg's Jesse Johnson; and Buchanan's Kyle Tracey.
