Seven players from the Lakeshore varsity softball team, which won the Big 16 Conference West Division title, were named to the All-West Division First Team.
Julie Olsen, Lauren Castonguay, Jacki Sandberg, Amanda Harrington, Monica Gathright, Molly Lange and Stacy Jones, all of Lakeshore, made the First Team.
Joining the Lakeshore players were Dowagiac's Brittney Reist, Kim Luthringer, Mandy Parish, Erica Knapp and Brianne Reist; St. Joseph's Mandi Rodriguez, Jordan Goslee and Kari Anderson; and Niles' Kate Whittaker.
The Honorable Mention list consisted of Niles' Ashton Parks, Kari Eckstein, Kayla Gross and Stephanee Schrader; St. Joseph's Sarah Lund and Melissa Blake; Benton Harbor's Tasha Finley; Dowagiac's Sarah Luthringer and Lakeshore's Alicia Shelton.
