Robbery suspect held in LaGrange

UNION -- An arrest warrant has been issued in connection with the May 13 armed robbery of the Marathon gas station at 15588 U.S. 12 Porter Township, Cass County Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reported Thursday.
Charges authorized included armed robbery, carrying a concealed weapon and carrying a concealed weapon with unlawful intent.
Sheriff's deputies responded to an armed robbery at the station at 2:24 p.m. May 13.
The suspect entered the store and demanded all the money at knifepoint, then exited the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and ran to a light-colored vehicle.
The warrant was issued after a suspect was arrested in connection with an armed robbery in LaGrange County, Ind., where he is currently being held. The investigation linked the suspect with the armed robbery here in Cass County.
The suspect's name will be released following arraignment in Cassopolis.
