Bobcats split with Centreville

The Brandywine varsity baseball team's record remains even after splitting a pair of five-inning games with Centreville in non-conference action Monday afternoon.
The Bobcats won the first game 5-3 before Centreville took the second game 9-4. Brandywine is 12-12 heading into today's Lakeland Conference doubleheader at Cassopolis.
Kory Bridges struck out six batters and gave up just three hits to earn the win in the opening game. He is now 6-4 on the season.
Andy Low, Aaron Holy, Billy Syrette, Josh Dickeson and Bridges each collected a hit, led by Syrette's triple and two RBIs. Holy and Dickeson each doubled.
Low led the Bobcats with three hits, two RBIs and five stolen bases in the second game. Dickeson also added a pair of RBIs.
Zach Bennett took the loss for Brandywine in the second game.
