Niles High School senior John Kessick signed a letter of intent today to continue his baseball and academic careers at Bethel College in Mishawaka, Ind.
Kessick is in his third year as a pitcher on the Niles varsity baseball team and opened the 2004 season by pitching a perfect game in the Vikings' 2-0 win over Edwardsburg Tuesday.
Bethel College is a member of the Mid-Central Collegiate Conference and is affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA). Seth Zartman is the head coach.
