Niles-Buchana YMCA Gators swim well at LaPorte

The Niles-Buchanan YMCA Gator swim teams fared well at the LaPorte, Ind. meet.
Ty Alexander took a first place finish in the Men's 11-12 year-old 50-meter Freestyle and third place in the 50-meter Backstroke.
Two first place finishes were won by Brian Exner for his 100-meter Freestyle and 50-meter Breaststroke in the Men's 9-10 year-old division.
Allie Fuller took first place in the Women's 8 and Under 50-meter Freestyle and second place in both the 25-meter Butterfly and 25-meter Backstroke.
Spencer Fuller won first place in the Men's 8 and Under 50-meter Freestyle and 25-meter Breaststroke and third place in the 25-meter Freestyle.
Taylor Fuller won first place in the Women's 9-10 year-old 100-meter Freestyle and third place in both the 50-meter Freestyle and 50-meter Breaststroke.
In the Women's 15 and Over division, Stephanie Gray won first place in the 50-meter Freestyle and the 100-meter Freestyle. She finished second in the 100-meter Backstroke.
Tonia Hauser had first place finishes in the Women's 15 and Over 100-meter Butterfly, and 100-meter Backstroke. She finished second in the 50-meter Freestyle.
Lindsey McCarty finished second in the Women's 11-12 year-old division in the 50-meter Freestyle and 50-meter Butterfly. She captured first place in the 50-meter Backstroke.
Emily Mills swam in the Women's 9-10 year-old division and had two first place finishes in the 200-meter Freestyle and the 50-meter Butterfly. She also had a second place finish in the 50-meter Backstroke.
Swimming in the Men's 8 and Under category, James Norris finished second in the 50-meter Freestyle, third in the 25-meter Backstroke and fourth in the 25-meter Freestyle.
Liz Panama finished third in both the 100-meter Individual Medley and the 50-meter Butterfly in the Women's 9-10 year-old category.
Mike Panama, in the Men's 9-10 year-old division, won third place in the 50-meter Freestyle and the 50-meter Backstroke. He captured second in the 100-meter Freestyle.
Bekah Polega won second in the 50-meter Freestyle, third in the 25-meter Freestyle, and fourth place in the 25-meter Backstroke. She swims in the Women's 8 and Under division.
Erin Polega had two first place finishes in the 100-meter Individual Medley, and the 25-meter Butterfly in the Women's 8 and Under category.
Three first place finishes went to T.J. Polega, swimming in the Men's 9-10 year-old division. He swam the 200-meter Freestyle, the 50-meter Freestyle and the 50-meter Backstroke.
In the Women's 11-12 year-old category, Carlee Rankel won first place in the 200-meter Freestyle, third place in the 50-meter Butterfly and 50-meter Breaststroke.
Kelsey Rankel took home fourth place in the 50-meter Freestyle and 50-meter Backstroke. She captured second place in the 100-meter Freestyle. She swims in the Women's 9-10 year-old division.
Michael Rattenbury won two first place finishes in the Men's 11-12 year-old division in the 100-meter Individual Medley and the 50-meter Butterfly. He also had a second place finish in the 200-meter Freestyle.
Two first place finishes went to Andy Welch, swimming in the Men's 15 and Over 50-meter Freestyle and 100-meter Backstroke.
Andrew Wycoff won third place in the 50-meter Freestyle and first place in the 50-meter Backstroke competing in the Men's 11-12 year-old division.
