NILES -- A press conference is planned for Thursday, Nov. 13, to announce plans for a new, $8.5 million Niles-Buchanan YMCA facility, a joint effort between the Y and Lakeland Regional Health System.
The new facility will be located just outside downtown Niles Front and Pokagon Street on land that was donated by the city.
Plans for the building, as well as Lakeland's plans for a Rehabilitation Center, will be unveiled.
Ground breaking on the project is expected to begin in April 2004 with completion in May 2005.
