Drug arrest made on warrant

NILES -- A man was arrested in Niles on Monday pending charges of alleged possession of marijuana and a probation violation.
Timothy Tyler Maness, 23, was arrested after Niles City police officers were advised Maness, who had a warrant for his arrest, was walking in the 700 block of Maple St., the police report said.
Officers made contact with Maness and searched him.
They found a clear plastic baggie that contained what appeared to be marijuana.
Maness was arrested and transported to the Niles City Police Department where he was booked and lodged with a $700 bond.
In other police reports:
James Wesley Parker, 24, 1950 S. 13th St. Lot No. 164, was arrested after police were tipped of Parker was living at the above mentioned address, the police report said.
Police knew Parker had warrant out of the Fifth District Court for dangerous drugs
The officers watched Parker walk out of the apartment before arresting him.
Parker was transported to the Niles City Police Department where he was booked and lodged.
