CASSOPOLIS -- The host Rangers played rude hosts to Lakeland Conference newcomer Bridgman Friday night.
The Rangers pasted the Bees 27-0 to improve to 2-1 on the season and 1-0 in the Lakeland Conference.
Neither team scored in the first half, however, Ashton Danzy's 17-yard run in the third quarter and Kirk Baucom's kick gave the Rangers a 7-0 lead.
Cassopolis scored three times in the fourth quarter to put the game away.
Danzy scored on a 10-yard run before Baucom scored on a 34-yard interception return.
Simon Ballard capped the scoring with a 52-yard run.
Baucom connected on two of the three kicks.
The Rangers finished with 267 yards rushing, including 126 by Ballard. Danzy rushed for 38 yards and was 5-of-10 for 43 yards passing.
Bridgman finished with 74 yards rushing and 124 yards through the air.
