The Niles girls cross country team ran well at the South Haven Invitational Tuesday afternoon, finishing fourth out of eight teams with a score of 82.
Battle Creek Harper Creek was the overall winner, followed by Allegan and Otsego.
Berrien Springs, South Haven, Wyoming Park and Coloma also took part in the event.
Elle Glueckert paced the Lady Vikings, finishing 10th overall with a time of 24:40. She earned a medal as did Kaylee Bonner, who came in 13th at 25:28, and Whitney Shearer who finished 14th at 25:31.
Amanda Baxter finished 20th overall for Niles with her time of 26:17. Melissa Wuthnow came in 25th at 28:39. Meghen Flynn finished 33rd with a time of 34:49 and Sarah Barth came in 36th at 39:25.
The Niles runners return to action today at the Kalamazoo Central Invitational.
