Niles finishes fourth of six

The Niles golf team finished fourth out of six teams at the South Haven Invitational Thursday afternoon.
The tournament included a team format in which teams of two players played six holes of best ball, six holes of alternating shot and six holes of scramble.
The Niles team of Ben Landgraf and Matt Molnar shot 67. Josh Flock and Scott Majerek combined for a 77 while Daren Martin and Andy Hoyt teamed up for an 84.
Lakeshore won the tournament with a team score of 214. Plainwell took second with 217. South Haven shot 222 for a third-place finish and Niles came in fourth with 228.
The Vikings travel to Hampshire Country Club today for a Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference West Division jamboree hosted by Dowagiac.
