NILES -- The 2003 Fifth Third Bank/Niles-Buchanan YMCA Riverfest 5K Run and Walk attracted 159 participants Saturday morning to Riverfront Park.
Cassopolis native Adam Dohm and Rachel Kroll of South Bend, Ind., took home the top honors in the 5K Run. Dohm turned in a winning time of 16:37 and Kroll crossed the finish line at 19:53.
Niles' own David Barstis and Maureen Metcalf of South Bend were the top walkers. Barstis won the race with a time of 28:06. Metcalf cruised to a time of 41:43.
