Still seeking money from LaGrange

CASSOPOLIS -- A letter was sent on June 4, 2003 to the LaGrange Township clerk from the Village's attorney, Frank DeFrancesco saying he has been directed to take legal action, should the "monies that you collected within the Village are not forthcoming."
He added that the Village is prepared to sign an agreement in which it agrees "that the money will only be used for fire and emergency services."
DeFrancesco also requested LaGrange representatives contact VIllage Manager Art Sciorra about "entering into an inter-governmental agreement for emergency services. LaGrange was given 10 days to respond.
