NILES -- "We have nothing to lose and our guys are ready."
That's how Buchanan tennis coach Steve Bender summed up his team's outlook on today's Division 4 State Finals at Kalamazoo College.
The No. 1-ranked Bucks received three No. 1 seeds and two No. 3 seeds to start today's competition.
Senior No. 1 singles player Bryce coward, senior No. 3 singles player Sean Jesse and the No. 4 doubles team of Dan Summers and Korey Camp each received a No. 1 seed in their respective flights.
Senior No. 2 singles player Ryan Evick and senior No. 4 singles player A.J. Mottl each received No. 3 seeds in their respective flights.
Bender feels his squad is one of seven teams with a chance to win the state title.
Below are the pairings for the flights in which Buchanan received No. 1 seeds.
