NILES -- Just as it did this past weekend, the weather has made the start to the high school baseball season wait.
Niles, Brandywine and Buchanan baseball teams were all scheduled to play their first games Saturday but were snowed out. Today, all three teams were again set to play but will have to wait until the snow melts off their respective baseball fields.
The Niles baseball team was scheduled to host Vicksburg today but that game may or may not be rescheduled. Brandywine was set to travel to South Bend Clay and Buchanan was scheduled to travel t Michigan Lutheran. The Buchanan game will most likely not be rescheduled. No information was available on the Brandywine game.
Other sports scheduled for tonight were a Niles golf match at Dowagiac, a Brandywine soccer game at home against Paw Paw, a Brandywine tennis match at Eau Claire, a Buchanan softball game at Michigan Lutheran and a Buchanan track meet at home against South Haven and LMC.
Forecasts call for gradually increasing temperatures this week.
