World Junior Golf Cup coming to Michigan course

MILFORD -- The World Junior Golf Cup (WJGC), a national junior golf competition in its seventh year, has announced that its 2003 regional qualifier will take place on Saturday, April 19, at Mystic Creek Golf Club in Milford.
Junior golfers in three age groups (13-14, 15-16, 17-18) will compete for the privilege of representing the United States in an international team competition to be held at St. Andrews, Scotland.
World Junior Golf Cup regional qualifiers will advance to the WJGC National Finals to be held at Walt Disney Word from June 17-20. The WJGC National Finals competition is an official Golfweek/Titleist rankings 36-hole event played at the Magnolia Course, site of the National Car Rental Classic on the PGA Tour.
WJGC national finalists will receive an all-expense paid trip to St. Andrews, Scotland as Team USA in an international competition to be held from July 28-August 2.
Player registration for the WJGC regional qualifier is $135, for which each participant will receive a full round of golf, complimentary gift package, range balls and lunch.
