Laura Jean Stineback, 42, of Dowagiac, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at her home.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 18, at Clark Chapel and Cremation Services, 405 Center St. in Dowagiac, with Pastor Jeff Oliver of the Pleasant View Church of Christ. Friends may visit with the family prior to the service from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Laura was born Jan. 23, 1973, in Berrien Center, to Charles and Phyllis (Northrop) Eubanks. She attended Dowagiac Union High School and later received her nursing degree from Southwestern Michigan College. A natural caregiver, she worked as a nurse at Kalamazoo Psychiatric Hospital.
Laura married Terry Ray Stineback on Oct. 31, 2005. Halloween was her absolute favorite holiday. Laura was a strong and independent person who didn’t sugarcoat anything — she simply said things as they were. She loved animals, fishing and camping.
Laura greatly loved her children and her family. She is survived by her mother, Phyllis (Joseph) Haskins; father, Charles Eubanks; husband, Terry Stineback; children, Joseph, Mark Jr., and Lea Zuhl, Jennifer Linner, all of Dowagiac, and Ashton and Brayden Sova of Edwardsburg; siblings, Charles, Phyllicia and Waynette Eubanks, Amanda Haskins all of Michigan, Marsha Davis, Lindy Johnson and Terry Eubanks all of Arkansas, and Danny Eubanks of Florida, Brian Eubanks of Ohio and William Haskins of Missouri; grandchildren, Jacob, Emmathyst and Lucas; two special cousins, Karen Ausra and Krissie Mosher of Dowagiac; grandmothers Carolina Northrop and Nina King; and mother-in-law Mary Starr of Paw Paw.
