People spoke twice on unions

Published 7:22pm Wednesday, October 31, 2012

To the editor:
Even after Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker made history by becoming the
first governor to win his recall election, the liberals in Madison want
to torpedo the people’s mandate.
Walker’s union law merely requires public union workers to pay a
fraction more for their pensions and health care and removes their
monopoly on giving themselves raises.
A judge in hyper-liberal Dane County claimed the law is
“unconstitutional.”
The people have spoken —  twice. The unions need to keep their hands out
of taxpayers’ pockets and pay their fair share.

  1. I questioned this many times years ago. It was never right that someone can take your money and support a cause that you do not. If their is ever a lawsuit against the Unions it should be now. If a body of people can sue for a company for bad drugs how is it different to take a persons money and spend it like they want to. But then again what is our Goverement doing?
