Garrison “Garry” Marko, 58, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at home.

Garry was born Aug. 25, 1954, in Decatur, the son of Raymond and Joan (Koeppen) Marko Sr. He was formerly employed by Creative Foam in Dowagiac for 31 years.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; two daughters, Tracy (Ted) Hoekstra of Dowagiac, Jody McKissack of Arizona; six, grandchildren, Alexis Price, Renee Hoekstra, Henry “Teddy” Hoekstra, Michelle Hoekstra, Emily McKissack and Maranda McKissack; brothers and sisters, Michael Marko of West Bloomfield, Wilma (Nick) Thierjung of Lawton, Claudia Marko-Adams of Paw Paw, Helena Marko, Christie (Nick) Siskaninetz, Raymond (Nancy) Marko Jr., Wes Marko and Loralyn (Steve) Turner, all of Decatur, and Joan (Keith) Morris of Dowagiac; and countless nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. Private graveside services will be held in Hamilton Cemetery, Decatur, at a later date.
