Lip Sync Registration and Review

In order to participate in the Lip Sync Contest finals Sept. 30, you must register at the Apple Festival grounds between 10 and 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8. Reviews begin at 2 p.m. and you must be at the review to qualify to be in the finals.

Ages 7-12, 13-17 and 18 over are accepted. Come prepared with a costume, a clean, family-oriented act, and a song no longer than four minutes. One entry per person, no more than four people to a group. Cash prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place.

Log Cutting and Hand Saw Contest

Show your competitive spirit by participating in the log cutting and hand saw contest. The event begins at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 29 on the Apple Festival grounds. Bring a partner to saw through logs ranging from 4 to 8 inches around. Whichever team can saw through the log in the fastest time wins.

Cash prizes are awarded. All are welcome to participate.

Apple Festival Custom Car Show

This event features unique cars, food, music and fun. To register for the event, arrive at 9 a.m., otherwise, come on out to the show, which goes from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is free to spectators, but there is a $10 fee to submit a car for the show. Trophies will awarded at about 5 p.m.

Homemade Apple Pies, Pastries and Cake Contest

To register your treat, arrive one-hour prior. Judging beings at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 29. There will be a first place prize of $75 and $50 prize for second place in each of the three categories.
