Dorothy (Van Tuyle) Rieman

Dorothy Marie (Van Tuyle) Rieman, widow of Ray L. Rieman, passed away in the Little Traverse Bay Hospice Center in Petoskey on Saturday morning, Aug. 25, 2012.

She is survived by sons, Allen Ray (Joyce), Roger Lee (Rita); one sister, Harriet (Van Tuyle) Peterson of Dowagiac; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, all of whom loved her dearly.

There will be a short memorial service before her burial at Mission Hills Cemetery, Niles, on Thursday Aug. 30, at 10 a.m.

Memorial contributions can be made to Hiland Cottage, Hospice of Little Traverse Bay, 1 Hiland Drive, Petoskey, MI 49770.

    We were sorry to read of Aunte Dorothy’s passing. It was so nice seeing her at Jerry’s this summer. She will be missed by all of us.
