Niles man, two others injured in rollover
Published 11:50am Friday, August 17, 2012A rollover accident on Niles-Buchanan Road left three people injured Friday morning.
Sgt. Steven Campbell, of the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department, said 64-year-old Clifford Davis, of Niles, was heading west on Niles-Buchanan Road when he turned his minivan south onto Morris Drive and into the path of a car heading east on Niles-Buchanan Road.
Amy Marie Delaurelle, 31, of Osceola, Ind., was driving the other vehicle.
The impact caused Davis’ minivan to flip over and come to a rest upside down.
Campbell said Davis was at fault and that Davis claimed he didn’t see Delaurelle’s vehicle coming when he attempted to make the turn onto Morris.
The accident occurred around 10:42 a.m.
Delaurelle, Davis and one passenger in Davis’ vehicle were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

Just curious, how does one turn South onto Morris Dr when driving West on Niles-Buchanan Road? Last I checked, Morris Drive goes North, so driving East or West on Niles-Buchanan requires a turn to the North. I hope whoever wrote this story can clear this up for me.
