Laid-off Hess employees invited to job fair
Published 6:16pm Tuesday, July 3, 2012Michigan Works and Lake Michigan College will host a job fair for jobseekers that formerly worked at Hess Industries in Niles. The fair will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. July. 10 at Lake Michigan College’s Niles Bertrand Crossing campus, 1905 Foundation Drives.
More than 20 employers from southwest Michigan and northern Indiana will be on site to do interviews and make job offers.
Attendees should bring copies of their resume, driver’s license and Social Security card. It is highly recommended that anyone planning to attend visits a local Michigan Works office for assistance with resume and interview preparation.
Michigan Works service centers are located in Benton Harbor (499 W. Main St.), Dowagiac (601-D Front St.) and Paw Paw (32849 Red Arrow Highway).
