Fiery Milton crash fatal

Police are attempting to identify a person who died in a fiery one-car accident Sunday morning in Cass County.
First responders arrived to find a sport utility vehicle on fire at Redfield Road east of Fir Road in Milton Township just after midnight, police said.
A single occupant was found dead in the vehicle. Police said the vehicle left the road and struck a tree.
Police are awaiting results in order to identify the victim. Michigan State Police Niles Post, Edwardsburg Ambulance and Edwardsburg Fire responded.
