Register to vote on campus
Published 11:29pm Wednesday, April 18, 2012Every Tuesday and Wednesday in April, the League of Women Voters of Berrien and Cass Counties will be on the Southwestern Michigan campus from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Activities Center to register students — and professors and staff — to vote.
Registration is required to vote. There are important elections on Aug. 7 and Nov. 6. There also are several local elections concerning school boards and other issues scheduled in Cass County on May 8. Citizens who are not registered at their current address 30 days before those dates will not be able to vote.
