Vehicles collide in Pokagon
Published 9:26pm Thursday, January 5, 2012CASSOPOLIS — Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports his deputies investigated a two-car minor injury crash that occurred Thursday on M-51 south of Peavine Street in Pokagon Township.
A vehicle driven by Douglas Mitchell of Dowagiac was turning into a private drive when the other vehicle driven by Kenneth Schultz of Dowagiac started to pass Mitchell and another vehicle and the two vehicles collided. One individual was transported to the hospital with minor injuries and the other driver refused treatment. Deputies were assisted on scene by Pride Care Ambulance. Seatbelts were worn. Alcohol was not a factor.
