Service above and beyond
Published 12:16am Thursday, May 12, 2011To the editor:
On Monday, May 2, I was on my way from Elkhart to Niles when the car computer flashed “low tire pressure.” Since I was about halfway to Niles, I decided to keep going and find someone there who could take a look at the tire. However, I am unfamiliar with reputable service stations in Niles, so I asked a gentleman in the lobby of the post office for a recommendation. He suggested I go to Clark’s Service on Oak Street, which I did.
The service, honesty, friendliness and professionalism were unbelievable and I would suggest that if any of your readers have not visited Clark’s for service, please give them a try. They took my car into the garage, put it on the hoist, checked all the tires, added 3 pounds of nitrogen to the low tire and didn’t charge me a penny. The service tech was very knowledgeable and spent time explaining tire structure to me (his knowledge lost me!).
The Niles community should be proud to have a business like Clark’s; they are definitely a positive addition. I was a stranger to your city, plus female, and could have easily been lied to and taken advantage of, but thanks to these gentlemen, it did not happen.
Thank you to Clark’s Service.
