Rotary Villa reports openings

This is to alert Dowagiac area senior citizens that we now have a few vacant apartments available at Dowagiac Rotary Villa.
Rotary Villa is a premier, subsidized, 24-unit apartment complex located on Cleveland Street in Dowagiac, just two blocks down from Save-A -Lot grocery.
To qualify, you or your spouse or the co-head of your household must be age 62 or older (or 18 or older and mobility impaired).
Income limits set by HUD are $19,450 or less for one person or $22,200 for two people.
Basically, tenants pay less than one third of their income, after medical expenses, in rent.
Rotary Villa is a very safe place to live.
There is an emergency call system.
The main entrance is locked 24/7 with intercom to screen visitors.
Rotary Villa is in a beautiful, convenient setting with public transportation through DART.
Rotary Villa has an on-site laundry room with folding tables and laundry cart.
There is an elevator to the second floor.
It has an attractive and comfortable community room for potlucks, TV viewing or just visiting.
