Dale E. King / July 20, 1942-Nov. 23, 2009
Published 9:50am Tuesday, November 24, 2009Dale’s life began on July 20, 1942, in Dowagiac, the son of Warren and Edith P. (Menteer) King.
Dale, 67, of Dowagiac, served his country in the U.S. Air Force and re-enlisted later in the U.S. Navy.
His family includes his half brother Doug (Amy) Wagoner of Dowagiac.
Dale had been a resident of the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.
He passed away on Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Carol Hunsberger ,and a brother, Dennis King.
Dale will be laid to rest at Fort Custer National Cemetery at a later date.
