Xzavier Byzzle Daron McFarland / March 20, 1986-Nov. 16, 2009

Xzavier Byzzle Daron McFarland, 23, of Dowagiac, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo, after an extended illness.

He was born March 20, 1986, in Dowagiac and was a lifetime area resident.

Xzavier is survived by: his mother, Cheryl M. Frazier of Dowagiac; his father, Glenn D. McFarland of Benton Harbor; a sister, LaQuita Smith of Kalamazoo; and a brother, Donta Coleman of South Bend, Ind.

He formerly worked as a machine operator in plastic molding manufacturing and also with McDonald’s restaurant.

He was a member of the Church of Cassopolis and a graduate of Dowagiac Union High School.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, Nov. 21, at noon in the Church of Cassopolis.

Officiating will be his pastor, the Rev. Christopher Pittman.

Cremation will follow the service.

His family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time.

Connelly Funeral Home, Cassopolis, is handling arrangements.
