  1. Is it ethical for the children/nieces/nephews of the pageant directors to be contestants?

  2. Wow… as a subscriber and a mom to one of the contestants in the Miss Edwardsburg Pageant I am truly disappointed in this article and the lack of coverage of this wonderful event. These children have already spent weeks getting prepared for the pageant and still have several more days before the big day.

This event is a community service that requires the children and parents to devote several hours, days, and weeks of hard work as well as lots of financial obligations and yet our weekly newspaper isn’t willing to devote as much to them?

It is my understanding that the event’s official photographer even put a nice spread together for you so it shouldn’t be that time was a factor… remember… more coverage means more sales for you as well!

I am looking forward to MUCH better coverage on the rest of the pageant actvities… This is why we are subscribers… to be able to see our children’s activities!
