Susan M. Cloud / Dec. 25, 1942-Sept. 23, 2009
Published 9:02am Friday, September 25, 2009Susan’s life began on Dec. 25, 1942, in Harlan, Ky., the daughter of Burchell and Della Mae (Slusher) Collett.
She married Arnold Cloud on Dec. 17, 1967, in Dowagiac.
Susan worked as a health care aid for L.A.D.D.
She was a faithful member of Apostolic Lighthouse Church.
Her greatest joy was her loving family, which includes: her husband of 41 years, Arnold Cloud of Dowagiac; her children, Dallas (Megan) Cloud, Michael (Michelle) Cloud and Kenneth ( Jennifer) Cloud, all of Dowagiac; grandchildren, Andrew Cloud, Matthew Cloud, TyLynn Cloud, Michael Cloud, Joshua Cloud, Kaitlyn Terry, Kenneth A. Cloud, Cody Cloud, William Cloud and Elizabeth Cloud.
Susan passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Jonathan Slusher and two brothers, L.P. and J.B. Collett.
Susan’s family will gather with friends on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church, Dowagiac, where her funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. led by Pastor David Helmuth.
She will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery, Dowagiac, following the services.
