Vickroy injured in bicycle mishap
Published 10:37am Thursday, September 17, 2009CASSOPOLIS – Cass County Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood reports that on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 4:37 p.m. his office responded to a personal-injury crash on O’Keefe Road, north of Dutch Settlement Street in Wayne Township.
A bicycle driven by Robert Vickroy was traveling north on O’Keefe when a dog ran out in front of him, causing him to crash. Deputies were assisted at the scene by Life Care Ambulance.
Vickroy was transported to Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Deputies said he was not wearing a helmet.
