List of informants bogus, sheriff says

ST. JOSEPH – The Berrien County Sheriff’s Office has received information that there’s a fictitious confidential informant list being passed out in Berrien County.
Det. Lt. David Chandler said Monday that someone scanned departmental stationery letterhead and posted more than 100 names on it, claiming they are working as confidential informants for the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office.

Information received from local law enforcement agencies indicates that this fictitious letter has been passed out at local businesses and left in mailboxes.

The Berrien County Sheriff’s Office did not post this list.

“This list has no merit to it and it’s absolutely false,” Chandler said.

The Berrien County Sheriff’s Detective Bureau has opened an investigation as to the source of this fabricated letter.

Anyone with information, please contact the Berrien County Sheriff’s Detective Bureau or Crime Stoppers.

    This list is 100% real.Everyone know’s it is.I have seen this list and know some of the narks on it.and yes they are NARKS!They would sell there mothers for a dollar to save fifty cents.They are low life with no life’s.Baily and Chandler both know this, but they have to try to cover it to protect the low lifes.They hand these list out to probation officers so when these narks come in for there weekly vist and can’t pass the drug test.It’s ok’d.So the nark can go and break the laws aslong as they turn others in for the same things they are doing them selfs.Sweet deal?Maybe not now that the list has came to light.If my name was on it,which it is not and will never be.I would be like Forrest Gump and RUN!run fast Forrest!!The story is that this list came from the desk of a probation officer!Good job!I do not beleive Baily or any of the police dept had any thing to do with this list getting out,But are now left to clean up the mess.Sorry guys!Baily is one of the best in this town and i for one stand behind him.He is a good man.

    Whatever maybe if you would stop doing illegal things and stopped doing drugs they would have nothing to Nark about…Get a clue, its not their fault your just in denial blaming other people for your problems.
