Dorothy V. Velcich / 1916-2009
Published 9:20am Monday, September 14, 2009Dorothy V. Velcich, 93, of Sheffield Avenue, Niles, died at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at West Woods of Niles, following a brief illness.
The family is gathering privately for services at Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles, with the Rev. David Otto, of Saint Mary Catholic Church, Niles, officiating.
There will be no public visitation.
She was born on March 27, 1916, in Chicago, Ill. to John R. Bray and Rosena (Snyder) Bray.
She has lived in Niles for three years coming from the Indian Lake community.
On June 16, 1935, in Chicago, Ill., she married John F. Velcich, who died on Feb. 12, 2005.
Arrangements were by Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles.
