  2. Hey Karen, what a great friend, what a great person. You know how I feel about Steve, he is one of my best buddy’s, I just wish I could have stayed in touch with him much better then I did.I have known Steve all my life, we played baseball together, we coached little league together, I am a Bear’s fan also. He was a big Yankee fan, and I was more of a Tiger fan so we had are moments. I know we all have to meet that maker some day, but it seems like the good ones always leave us a little sooner then some. I am so glad God bless us with memorys, cause that is how Steve will keep on living with us. He’s in my heart , and so are you Karen, may God bless you and everyone that comes near you, tell everyone that I love them and may Steve rest for awhile, we will see him soon. Love you and take care..

  3. Karen,

I have just found out about Steve’s passing today from Lester Karstead. I am so sorry to here this news. I am going to AZ November 11 and was planning on stopping by to see him.
He was my roommate for four years when he first started at Gila River. I will let the folks that transfered to Virginia when Gila closed know about this unfortunate event.
Steve was a great friend and we had a lot of good times together. May he always be remembered.
