Cass County Drug Enforcement Team announces that on the afternoon of Wednesday, Sept. 9, detectives executed a search warrant in the 200 block of E. Arbor Street in Marcellus.
This location was across the street from Marcellus Middle School.
During the investigation police located suspected methamphetamine, scales and related paraphernalia.
Detectives also located components for manufacturing methamphetamine.
Two adult subjects, one male and one female, were arrested at the scene.
They were lodged at the Cass County Jail in Cassopolis for possession of methamphetamine and frequenting a drug house.
This matter is still under investigation and police may be requesting more charges at a later date.
