Ruby M. Taylor / 1929-2009
Published 9:27am Tuesday, September 8, 2009Ruby M. Taylor, 80, of Kentwood, died at 4 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, at Buttersworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Silverbrook Cemetery, Niles.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 tonight, Tuesday, Sept. 8, at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan.
She was born on July 22, 1929, in Ellisville, Ark. and lived here for more than 70 years, coming from Arkansas.
She was a member of the Buchanan Moose Lodge.
On Oct. 12, 1947, in Niles, she married Robert E. Taylor, who died on Sept. 4, 1973.
She is survived by a son, Robert E. (Ella) Taylor of Niles; a daughter, Sharon (Emil) Hurbanis of Kentwood; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
