Marian E. Edquist, 93, of La Porte, Ind., formerly of Chesterton, Ind. passed away on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, at La Porte Regional Health System, following a lengthy illness.

Marian served on the board of directors for Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in Niles.
A time of visitation will be held on Monday, Sept. 7,  from 5 to 9 p.m. at the White-Love Funeral Home in Chesterton, Ind. located at 525 South Second St.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 1 p.m., with visitation one hour prior, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church 2050 W 1100 N., in Chesterton, Ind.  The Rev. Jane Aicher, D. Min. will be officiating the services and she will be interred at the Chesterton Cemetery.
